The Centre for Research and Innovation (CRI) at 91 (BUV), in collaboration with Swansea University (UK), is inviting lecturers, students, and higher education administrators across Vietnam to participate in a national survey on the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in higher education.
The survey is part of the international research project Bridging the GenAI Gap, funded by the International Science Partnerships Fund (ISPF) through the British Council. The project aims to understand how GenAI is being used across Vietnamese higher education and to identify opportunities, challenges, and barriers to equitable access.
As Principal Investigator of the project, Assoc. Prof. Mike Perkins, Head of the Centre for Research and Innovation (CRI) at BUV, leads the research direction, coordinates with international partners, and helps ensure the project delivers practical value for Vietnamese higher education.
Assoc. Prof. Mike Perkins, shared: “Generative AI is moving fast, and not every university in Vietnam is in the same position to respond. This project aims to help ensure the benefits are shared more equally and to provide institutions with practical support for engaging with AI.”
The survey findings will contribute to recommendations and guidance to support the responsible and effective adoption of GenAI in Vietnamese higher education.
